Our latest updates
The Innoptus Solar Team consists of Belgian engineering students from KU Leuven who aim to build the most innovative and efficient solar car possible.
Since 2023, the team has been able to count on Innoptus as its main sponsor. The team is the current world champion after victories in Chile, Australia, and Belgium. With the tenth Belgian solar car, Infinite, the team won double gold at the World Championship in Australia in 2023. They not only took home the world title but also the innovation prize. They received this award for their rotating fin, which makes the car more stable and reduces energy consumption. In 2024, they conquered the title for the first time in the most extreme solar challenge, the Sasol Solar Challenge.
