Facing the future with a unified front

Two companies develop digital solutions for the manufacturing industry… CadCorner from Sint-Eloois-Winkel (BE) and GPO Solutions from Breda (NL) will now do business under the name Innoptus. “This is so much more than a rebranding. It reinforces our collaboration and takes a new step in our further professionalisation,” said Xavier Werbrouck, CEO of 4ITEGO Group. The group is also looking for new people to sustain its rapid growth.

CadCorner was founded in 2011 by Xavier Werbrouck and GPO Solutions in 1993 by Guy van Kooyk and Peter Meijnhardt. Both companies have operated as one team since 2017 and are part of 4ITEGO Group. In 2020, the group also acquired Infinite Simulation Systems. These three companies specialise in developing highly innovative solutions for the manufacturing industry. They align digital processes better to improve and accelerate product development. Manufacturers need this more than ever today because the industry is under pressure.

Xavier Werbrouck explained, “Anyone not considering their digital transformation will find themselves left behind eventually and overtaken by companies that do. There are many challenges, including the tightening labour market and the raw materials crisis putting pressure on our entire supply chain. Moreover, technology is evolving to the point that requires an even faster transition. And we have the right expertise in-house that can translate our customers’ questions and requirements into workable solutions. We do so by assisting them to get through the transformation process.”

A name change must bolster further growth

In recent years, the CadCorner and GPO Solutions teams had already collaborated closely. And that continues with our reinforced collaboration and a new name. “Our collaboration and complementary expertise are finally seeing the light. We create clarity, both for our staff and our customers,” said Robin van Raak, 4ITEGO Group Sales Director. “And we will continue to promote our internal knowledge exchange and align processes even further. This ultimately leads to better service. Finally, the new name must also highlight our ambitions.”

So, Innoptus, with the help of its subsidiary Infinite, intends to record double-digit growth over the next four years. “Since 2017, our sales have more than tripled thanks in part to a broader product portfolio. We want to continue on that path. But that can only happen with the right people on board. So, by the end of this year, we want to see most of our job vacancies filled. I’m optimistic about this as I believe we have an edge as an innovative player. The only thing missing from our employer branding strategy was a scintillating name and now we have one.”

The name was officially introduced last weekend at the Industrial Innovation Event in Eindhoven. “Just about all our partners attended so they could immerse themselves in the latest trends in the manufacturing industry. Once again, we could demonstrate our ecosystem’ added value to attendees while proving why we call ourselves the early adopters of the technology of the future. Our unveiling of ‘Innoptus’ eventually became the perfect finale for the day,” concluded Xavier Werbrouck.
